I began teaching Culinary Arts for Waynesville R-VI Schools in 2001. Over the years we have sent many students to chef schools all over the country and love watching students succeed in their careers. My mother taught foods in the high school as I grew up and I learned a love of cooking but really didn't embrace it till I was almost 20 years old. Realizing and loving the restaurant industry spurred the love of food combinations and how they produce pleasing combinations is something we strive to learn in our class.
