QUALIFYING EVENT: Just a Pinch
I love cooking and eating clean foods! Up until about five years ago I didn't really cook much or pay attention to what is considered processed foods. Then I started realizing some of the ingredients in many of the go-to foods I considered somewhat healthy...well they really aren't. Especially those ingredients I could not pronounce or figure out easily how they are derived. After extensive research and conversations I began my journey toward a clean cooking and eating lifestyle. Of course, that path takes you into the kitchen since most clean meals need to be fully assembled - mainly from local and fresh ingredients. Now I pride myself on a combination of innovation and motivation when thinking up new and fun dishes. I can certainly say I have come a long way...hopefully far enough to win at this year's competition!
