World Food Championships to host Rancher's Reserve Beef Cup Final Event

The final competition event of the 2013 Rancher’s Reserve® Beef Cup will take place in Las Vegas at the World Food Championships on Thursday, Nov. 7.   All year long, competition barbecue teams are being challenged to cook up their best and most creative dishes using the Rancher’s Reserve top sirloin – found at Safeway retailers nation-wide.

World Food Championships to host Reser's America's Best Potato Salad Challenge Championship

Major bragging rights and $10,000 will be on the line in Las Vegas as the country’s best potato salad cooks will face off in the championship event of Reser’s 2nd Annual “America’s Best Potato Salad Challenge” at the World Food Championships.  On the hunt to find the best potato salad recipe out there, Reser’s Fine Foods is challenging cooks across the nation to prove their spuds are superior.

Macon, Tifton take top honors at Brenau Barbecue Championship

Posted: Saturday, May 25th 2013 at 9:11pm GAINESVILLE - Dixie Que of Macon, Ga., and Smokin’ 42 Barbecue from Tifton, Ga., earned rights to compete in the World Food Championships in Las Vegas after winning Grand Champion status in the Memphis Barbecue Network and Georgia Barbecue Association competitions here Saturday, May 25, at the 5th Annual Brenau University Barbecue Championship. The Dixie Que team, headed by Rick Godfrey, aced the rib and pork shoulder cooking categories and was runner up in the whole hog presentation for the MBN-sanction professional cooking league in the Brenau competition. Smokin’ 42, headed by Chad Brooks, also picked up first place in the ribs category for the GBA-sanctions events that were open to both amateur and professional cook teams. Sauced Hog Smoke Shack, Clint Britton’s team from Jackson, Ga., won the GBA reserve grand champion position with a No.
