Efrem Cutler Vice President of R&D for Bloomin Brands International, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine bar, Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Carrabbas Italian Grill and the Aussie Grill by Outback. Process driven with extensive experience in international menu development, championing supply chain complexities of various cultures in a global landscape. Proven success working the intricacies of driving culinary excellence in various global cultures with numerous brands in the portfolio. Develop and engineer the core menu recipes and populate a pipeline of products for future markets. Collaborate with manufacturers on formulas and recipes differentiating the brand. Build a World Class Culinary R&D team. Prior to joining Bloomin Brands, Chef Cutler has over 35 years of culinary experience including training and product development for: Ritz-Carlton, Occidental Grand Hotel’s Chef for Café Opera, Rochester Meat Company, and owned a successful Café and Bakery in Roswell, Georgia. He has also served as a Chef Instructor for the Art Institute of Atlanta where he pioneered a new curriculum for the graduating class of International Food and History. Chef Cutler holds a degree from Baltimore International Culinary College where he graduated on the dean’s list with honors. He has traveled the world extensively promoting and teaching the cooking techniques of his Southern heritage
