COMPETITION: World Vegetarian Championship
I began competing in WFC since the Las Vegas days-beginning with the Dessert category. The next year in Vegas I managed to place 7th in Seafood, placed 2nd in Desserts in 2015, was overjoyed to place in the Bacon Top Ten in 2021, but wasn't so lucky last year in Bacon. This year I'm going vegetarian and look forward to cooking among some of the best chefs and home cooks around. Food Sport is important to me-it allows me to express myself and create, which is what I love to do. I still work fulltime outside of the food industry; My sous chef this year is also my soon-to-be husband, and we live on 20 acres in Northwest Arkansas outside of Blue Eye, where our neighbors are cows and chickens.
