Cookin With Hal The Cajun Lady Accent

HEAD COOK: Heather LeJeune

COMPETITION: World Rice and Noodle Championship

My name is Heather LeJeune but I go by my nickname Hal and I’m known to most as Hal The Cajun Lady Accent. I was born and raised in Church Point, Louisiana with a heart for cooking and music and of course everything that’s our Cajun Culture. I learned how to cook at a young age from watching and helping my family cook, especially my Grandparents and Great Grandparents. When I wasn’t in the kitchen helping them cook I was working in the garden with them or listening to Cajun and Zydeco music. I still learn new things in the kitchen daily. I’m not a professional chef but just a simple self taught Cajun Lady who absolutely loves to cook at home. I have a very heavy cajun accent and I have been told this since I was a kid. I enjoy cooking, music, and talking to EVERYONE! I love to watch cooking shows. I also enjoy my job promoting cookware at Gary Matte Hardware in Rayne Louisiana, and if you ever walk in the store I promise you will hear me greeting you loud and proud! In April of 2022 I decided to start doing short cooking videos on social media platforms. I knew I had to give myself a name that I wouldn’t regret just in case this would go further than I intended, and it did so here I am! My nickname is Hal and since everyone always talks about my Cajun Accent I decided to name my social medias Hal The Cajun Lady Accent. I thought that a line of seasoning and more products would only be fitting for all of my cooking videos. So of course, I started in the kitchen making recipes until I thought they were perfect enough for everyone to enjoy! Most of my products are low in sodium and they are all MSG free. I named my Seasoning line Cookin With Hal The Cajun Lady Accent. As of now I have 16 products released, with more in the making. Creating products and cooking with them is definitely a passion for me. You can find a full list of stores my products are stocked in on my website HalTheCajunLadyAccent.com See You Soon Sha
