Chef Brody Olive is the Executive Chef at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama, where he oversees all food and beverage operations across five restaurants and banquet facilities, including the renowned Voyagers restaurant. With an impressive background of training and achievements, Chef Olive's expertise in culinary has been distinguished through numerous accolades including Mobile Area’s Top 40 Under 40 young leaders in 2017, Baldwin's Best Chef in 2022 and 2023, Alabama's "Chef of the Year" by the Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Association, Grand Tasting Winner and People's Choice Award at the Wharf Uncorked. This year, Olive adds a national recognition to his impressive bio, earning the title “King of American Seafood” at the Great American Seafood Cook-Off Championship. Despite his landlocked upbringing in the Atlanta suburb of Newnan, Chef Olive has wholeheartedly embraced the Gulf Coast lifestyle. He has seamlessly acclimated to the coastal community of Orange Beach, where the popular fishing culture and salty breeze quickly became second nature to him. Immersed in a world where fishing is not only a pastime but a way of life, he effortlessly embraced the local traditions and values associated with the Gulf.
