QUALIFYING EVENT: Just A Pinch category winner
I have been cooking for nearly 50 years now and it is one of the things that I love the most to do. When I retired 2 years ago I started entering cooking contests and have won a few, but never have competed in a cook off, and I am very excited to be able to compete in this years WFC! In 2010 I won an appetizer week for RWOP with my Polynesian Cheese Ball, and then Recipe 101's Appetizer contest with my 2 Cheese Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon. In 2011 I won grand prize in Taste of Homes Healthy Cooking's That's Amore contest with my Lightened Up Turkey Meatballs and Sauce. I am delighted to be one of the 5 sponsored by my on line recipe club! To be able to meet them in person as well as the Kitchen Crew will be one of the most exciting high points of my life!
