Growing up, I always had a passion for cooking. Cooking is a way to connect with others. I believe food is therapeutic. It is something that gathers families, unites communities, and spreads love. Food is the only thing that everyone has in common which is why I fell in love with the food industry. I am a current student at the Institution of Culinary Arts at Metropolitan Community College studying Culinary Arts Management and Baking and Pastry. I participate in culinary team competition and am a member of the ACF Heartland chapter. I spend most of my time practicing for upcoming competitions and giving service to my community.
