After graduating from Berea college in 1995 with a degree in History and plans of pursuing library science, I found my way into the culinary world by accident and have remained here, gratefully. I have worked in many wonderful restaurants and several bad ones but have learned from every experience. I am the owner and executive chef of Circle City Soups in Indianapolis, Indiana, where I have made my home with my wife Cindy Hawkins, pastry chef and WFD Dessert Competitor. My first WFC was in the recipe category in 2019 and I'll looking forward to competing in the Soups category in 2020!
