COMPETITOR

Taylor Made Gumbeaux

HEAD COOK: Nicole Taylor

COMPETITION: World Seafood Championship

Nicole is a home cook with a love for cooking and entertaining. Aside from recently winning a local gumbo cook-off (Taylor-Made Gumbeaux), this is her first food sport competition ever and she is excited and humbled to be offered the opportunity to cook along side all of the amazing chefs and cooks at the competition. Originally from northwest Arkansas (Pig-Sooie), she and her husband Derek moved their family to the Alabama Gulf Coast over ten years ago because of their love for the Gulf and their desire to live and work around the water. They have been married for almost 25 years and have three amazing kids. Nicole’s love for cooking began back in her high school and college days when she worked part time in many different restaurants. She is from a long line of amazing southern cooks who always had their holiday tables filled with the best homemade recipes you’ve ever tasted. She has learned a lot about cooking and flavoring food from her family and her exposure to so many different kitchens, and especially from the experience she has acquired while cooking most nights for her family of five, three of which are males who require a lot of food!
