COMPETITION: Steak Out People's Choice
I received my introduction to Food Sport by joining the Florida BBQ Association as a judge in 2013. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to be selected as a judge at World Food Championships in November, 2015 in Celebration, Florida. Most recently, I started judging in the Steak Cookoff Association and that is where the competitive spark struck. I cooked my first steak event in late 2017 and by July of 2018 I won my first contest, earning a Golden Ticket to the SCA World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas! I am looking forward to the competition and fellowship that will be Orange Beach WFC 2018.
