QUALIFYING EVENT: SC Peach Festival - Gaffney, SC
Smokin' Stacks is a competition BBQ Team from Aiken, SC. The team was established in 2008 and is a member of South Carolina BBQ Association(SCBA) and cooks all over the state of SC. The team is composed of Jeff Smith, Pit-master and Larry Bowling, Assistant Pit-master. We have had six place wins in pork, one in ribs and one grand champion to date in 2012. We are the number two team in the SCBA as of August 11, 2012. We won the Peach Festival Cook-Off in Gaffney, SC this year to qualify for the World Food Championship in Las Vegas. The other team members are all family and we enjoy the time we spend together at all the competitions
