QUALIFYING EVENT: 2013 World Food Championships
Now that I am retired from a career in advertising, I can brainstorm recipes instead of ads ! I have always been a foodie...enjoying everything from the delicious comfort foods of home....to trendy fun new tastes from favorite restaurants ! I got swept up by the excitement of contest and competitive cooking and "Hit the jackpot " in 2012 when I was honored to be selected by Just A Pinch to compete in the sandwich competition at The World Food Championships in Vegas....and somehow found myself in the finals ! That led to qualification for the 2013 WFC Sandwich competition...and that led to qualification for this year, 2014 World Food Championships ! The experience every year has been so incredibly soul-filling and awesome...and I can't wait to return and hope to compete for the best ever !
