Heather is a self-taught home cook, competitor and food blogger. Her blog, www.hoopfinityshappenings.com showcases her own recipes that are "Easy, Healthy, Delicious and FUN!" Her dishes have earned the interest of over 15,000 readers monthly and she specializes in "how to" videos and television cooking segments. Heather had never entered a cooking contest before the birth of her son in 2010, but met with immediate success in her first competition, Real Women of Philadelphia (Kraft). She has continued to have major success in amateur cooking competitions such as the Aetna Healthy Food Fight, The California Strawberry Commission and The Sam Livecast Competition. This is Heather's first World Food Championship and vows to bring her absolute best and represent home cooks world wide.
