QUALIFYING EVENT: Bull Burger Battle - Indianapolis
Mark Medlin here from Nashville bringing the Barnhouse Burger to please the palates of Las Vegas and win the World Food Championship. My mother and grandmother showed me the basics. I cut my teeth working in a family bakery for years, but I came into my culinary own in my early 20s catering and cooking for who ever would have me. Since we won Indy with the Barnhouse, folks ask about the name origin. The Burger name comes from Kurt Vonnegut, an Indianapolis native, and his first story about the Barnhouse Effect. Professor Barnhouse could give people what they wanted with the power of his mind; so can my Burger do the same.
