QUALIFYING EVENT: Battle of the Boroque (GBA)
We are professional Georgia Southern Football Tailgaters. We love to bbq for our friends but have no culinary background and received an invitation to this event by winning the first bbq competition that we ever entered, The Statesboro Music Fest, in March of this year. We have never been to an event and never cooked in any bbq contest before. We have since tried our skills twice more and finished 4th in ribs out of 32 teams in our last competition. We are traveling across the country in our RV almost 2800 miles with smoker in tow to see if we have what it takes to be one of the best in the country in Las Vegas during the month of November.
