QUALIFYING EVENT: FoodChamp Challenge - Dessert Challenge

I Have been an Obsessive Foodie my entire life! I have never been classically trained in the culinary arts, I was taught by my grandmother. I started my competitive food journey in 2006, my first contest was the Long Island New England Clam Chowder Contest! Next one I took 1st place for New York State in the National Chicken Cooking Contest which took me to compete in the Nationals to cook my little heart out.....I was hooked and have been competing ever since. I now live in a rural area in PA for 6 years and also enter in local Farm shows, for my canned goods, baked goods and herbs that are grown on my property. I also took first place in my town's local Pie Contest called "Bangor Best Pie Contest" in 2007 for my Chocolate mousse creme pie. I have taken home over hundred's of ribbons over the past 7 years, some plaques, a huge trophy with a clam on top, and a pretty silver bowl. Its all about feeding the ones you love with amazing food, and making new foodie friends along the way. I love to Bake and Cook. The memberships I belong to and consider my extended big family's are: The Kansas City Barbecue Society; which I am also a Master Certified BBQ Judge, and The American Pie Council since 2007.
