QUALIFYING EVENT: 2012 World Food Championships
I retired from a 27 year career in advertising, and I loved the creative and competitive atmosphere there. Now that I am retired, I can brainstorm recipes instead of ads ! I have always been a foodie...enjoying everything from the delicious comfort foods of home....to trendy fun new tastes from favorite restaurants ! I got swept up by the excitement of contest and competitive cooking and "Hit the jackpot " last year when I was honored to be selected by Just A Pinch to compete in the sandwich competition at The World Food Championships in Vegas....and somehow found myself in the finals ! .... a completely awesome experience I surely will never forget ! I am grateful and honored again to be asked to compete in the 2013 challenge and thank Just A Pinch and WFC for this chance to be in another over-the-top FOOD FIGHT !!!!!
