QUALIFYING EVENT: WFC Online Recipe ContestI grew up in a small town in North Dakota. My passion for cooking started with my parents who owned a restaurant and catering business all my life. In fact my mother is 76 years old and still catering. Now I live in Oregon, happily cooking for my four daughters and their families. Each day I help adults with disabilities to meal plan and cook. I love my job!! Three times a month, a young gentleman with autism helps me cook for our local food bank. We make samples and hand out recipes to go along with the food in the boxes. I enjoy cooking, it is more than just a meal, it is a gift I can give to others that brings good times and lots of memories.
