WFC and GSOBT Team Up for “Cook Your Way to the Beach” Online Recipe Contest
Calling all Alabama #FoodChamps! The Gulf Shores Orange Beach Tourism “Cook Your Way to the Beach” Online Recipe Contest invites you to submit your best seafood dishes.
For this contest, all recipes must use Gulf of Mexico Seafood, preferably from Alabama, and you must be an Alabama resident to enter. The rest is up to you!
One Grand Champion will earn a spot at the World Seafood Championship in Orange Beach, Nov. 11-13, and a chance at $100,000 in cash and prizes. Start gathering your best seafood recipe: the competition will open for entries at 8 a.m. Central time on Friday, June 24 and close at midnight 11:59 p.m. Central time on Monday, July 4.
One Grand Champion will advance to the World Seafood Championship, receive a waived registration fee and a $500 travel stipend. Two runners-up will receive a Golden Ticket (qualification only) to the World Seafood Championship.
Submit all recipes starting on June 24 on WFC's Facebook page. And don’t forget to include photos! (Your entries are incomplete without them.) Look on the left-hand side navigation under Apps for "Food Champ Recipe Contest."
